The Power of Our Singing

Revelation 14:1-5

There is a unique power that comes from singing. In Revelation, we find it curious that the main way in which God’s people stand with him to fight the powers of evil is through singing. This week, we’ll look into how the Bible demonstrates the power of our singing.

A People at Home

Moses completes the construction of the Tabernacle and the glory of God descends on it all. But the shock is this: once it’s all completed…Moses still can’t go in. What does it mean to have found our hearts true home, but still long for something more?

Exodus 19:1-9

Chapter 19 is the “seam” of the book of Exodus. All that came before hinges on this chapter where God tells the Jews what he’s commissioned them for, to be a “kingdom of priests,” healers of the His good world. Here we learn what it looks like for God’s people to be called to be holy.
