Jesus makes one of his seven I am statements when he refers to himself as the light of the world. Light dispels darkness, light reveals the truth about things that otherwise would never be seen if they remained in darkness. Jesus as light reveals the uncomfortable truth about humanity, the truth about God, and the transformation that He brings in the lives of his followers. Do you want to live in truth? Come to the light?
