John was born and raised in Memphis, TN. He attended The University of Mississippi where he met his wife, Elizabeth (CPC Children’s Ministry Coordinator), and earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in accountancy. He is a Certified Public Accountant and currently serves his alma mater as the Business Manager for Academic Affairs. Elizabeth and John have two wonderful children, Jack (6) and Betsy (4).
Brett Barefoot, a native of Charleston, MS, moved to Oxford as an Ole Miss freshman in the fall of 2000. This community has remained his home since that time. Brett has a 16-year career with the University and has been raising private support for Ole Miss since 2013. He and his wife Meg have three young children: Drew (7), Kate Stiles (4) and Brett Martin (1).
Pete & Denease Bishop, along with their three children MK, Matt, and Meg, moved to Oxford from Clinton, MS in 2016. Pete, Denease, and MK joined our Christ Pres family in 2018, while Matt and Meg joined this past year. Pete graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson campus, with his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling in 2000. He practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Delta Autumn Consulting in Oxford.
A native of Jackson, Tennessee, Bill Dabney and his wife, Wren, have lived in Oxford more than 35 years. Both graduated from Ole Miss in 1989. Bill is manager of integrated marketing communications for the University of Mississippi Foundation, where he is responsible for publicizing major gifts to the university. He also works as a professional photographer and adjunct instructor of public relations. Bill and Wren have four children: Trip, 24; Alison, 22; Sally Kate (Skate), 18 and Tad, 16.
Robert grew up in Batesville, MS and relocated to Oxford in 2019. He is married to Hannah, and they have been blessed with a one year old little girl named Adeline and are expecting another child in February! Robert works in Batesville alongside much of his family and manages the supply chain at a wholesale/retail tire distribution company.
Chris has a 20 year career with FNC | CoreLogic where he currently serves as Technical Product Manager and leads a team of software developers. He and his wife, Audrey, have been married for 10 years and have two sons: Luke (7), and Eli (4).
Will grew up in Greenville, MS. He went to High School in NC then came back to MSU. He and his super lovely bride of 22 years, Portia have been living in Oxford for just over eighteen years and have been members of Christ Pres for sixteen years. He and Portia have three children: Mary Porter, 18 who will be going to The University of Arkansas in the fall, Mack, 16 who is a rising high school junior and Whit, 13 who will be in the eighth grade this fall. Will is a partner in GreenServ which is a Medical Waste, document destruction, e-waste and compliance company. Greenserv is located in Batesville, where they moved into their treatment facility in the fall of 2020.
Mark Levy, born in Jackson, MS, moved to Oxford in fall of 2001 to attend Ole Miss. For the past 20 years, aside from a brief period in Starkville to obtain a Master's degree, Mark has attended Chris Pres, joining as a communing member with his now-wife, Susanna, in 2009. Mark is employed by the City of Oxford in the office of General Government, working on various municipal projects. Mark is also a practicing landscape architect. Mark and Susanna have three children Louise (8), James (6), and Sallie (2).
A native of the Mississippi Delta, Webb Lewis & his wife Tiffany met at Ole Miss in undergrad, married in 2007 & returned to Oxford full time in 2010. Webb has been working at the university for the past 11 years & currently serves as the assistant director of marketing & brand strategy/social media. He also teaches marketing courses for the school of journalism. Webb currently sits on the board of directors for both Regents School of Oxford and the United Way of Oxford-Lafayette. Webb & Tiffany have been married 14 years & have one child, Jack (8).
Gray grew up in Oxford and has been a member of Christ Presbyterian Church since 2013. He practiced law with his father for 29 years, served in the state senate, and was appointed Circuit Court Judge last year. He’s married to Amanda and has two children Grady, 24, and Laurel, 22.
