a note about giving
Christ Presbyterian Church exists to proclaim a HOPE that creates a HOME that launches a HEALING. The HOPE we have came to us in the Gospel, the story of God’s lavished riches spent in his Son Jesus’ death on the Cross. We believe that lavish gift is so powerful that it neutralizes any other loyalties that might compete for our heart’s highest treasure.
Our giving is done in that spirit. We give not out of compulsion or guilt or obligation, but out of the sheer joy that the God of the Universe has spared no expense in loving us in his Son. Nowhere is this summed up better than in 2 Corinthians 8:9, "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich."

Giving Opportunities
At present their are three funds to which you can give directly:
- General Operating: Supports church staff, ministries, operations, etc.
- New Building Fund: Supports our new building at 901 Sisk Avenue
- Benevolence Fund: Supports local our local mercy ministry
Ways to Give
There are several ways you can give to Christ Presbyterian Church:
Online
You may give online by clicking the "ONLINE GIVING" button at the introduction of this page. We accept debit cards, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express*. You will be directed to a site where you can create a user profile and give a one-time gift or setup a reoccurring gift.
*A note about online giving: CPC will incur transaction fees for credit card donations. If you choose to pay by credit card you can a) consider contributing to cover transaction costs or b) be willing to setup a bank transfer, which has less fees. We ask that any donation over $500 be sent via bank transfer to avoid excessive fees.
Sundays
Gifts of cash or checks can be deposited in the offering plate during worship services. Checks should be made payable to Christ Presbyterian Church and you may designate one of our main funds in the "for" line on your check. If no designation is given it will go to our General Fund.
